About the Character: Tricki Woo is a long-haired Pekingese dog who feasts on trifle and caviar. Owned by Mrs. Pumphrey, he’s the apple of her eye and thus, quite overindulged. The vets are also quite fond of Tricki because they regularly receive delicacies like oak-smoked kippers or Christmas hampers from Fortnum & Mason’s, which are supposedly sent from the pup.

Fun Fact: Derek was taken in by animal trainer Jill Clark after his elderly owner died and he was put in a rescue shelter. Clark told the Mirror (UK) that “He’s a very clever dog and very easy to train.” And apparently, he wore makeup: “A bit of foundation on his cheeks because his face is too dark and they want to see his eyes.”
